LSEG today announced the general availability of our expanded private markets offering in LSEG Workspace, giving institutional investors enhanced tools to discover funds, evaluate managers and compare performance across private and public markets.
The update builds on LSEG’s strategic partnership with Nasdaq® and the availability of Nasdaq eVestment™ private markets datasets earlier this year. It expands how clients use these datasets in Workspace through enhanced fund screening, investor and manager insights, and broader benchmarking capabilities.
Private markets data remains fragmented, making it harder to identify comparable funds and assess performance in the context of a wider portfolio. LSEG brings together market-sourced and manager-reported fund performance data with investor intelligence, research and benchmarks, enhancing these datasets through mapping, standardisation and integration. By delivering this intelligence through the formats and workflows clients use in Workspace, LSEG provides a more connected foundation for manager due diligence and capital allocation.
Investors need more than a fund’s headline returns. They need to understand how it compares with relevant peers and the wider market. These enhancements help our customers move from identifying funds to evaluating managers and putting performance in context, within the Workspace workflows they already use.

The expanded offering brings together LSEG’s capabilities across private markets data, research, analytics and benchmarking. It includes enhanced fund discovery and screening, combining Preqin and Nasdaq eVestment™ data for fund selection and peer-group analysis; expanded LP and GP insights covering fundraising, investments, exits and commitments; and performance benchmarking through Nasdaq eVestment™ and Preqin data.
