Transfer of Turquoise Derivatives to London Stock Exchange Plc
From Monday 30 September 2013, trading in derivatives will be conducted on the London Stock Exchange Derivatives Market and the Rules of the London Stock Exchange Derivatives Market will be effective from this date. This will have two major impacts on the transaction reporting of these derivatives:
- FCA had previously given guidance that transactions on Turquoise Derivatives Exchange could be reported either as OTC derivatives or as exchange traded derivatives. With the transfer of trading to the London Stock Exchange Derivatives Market, which is a Regulated Market, these transactions must now be reported as exchange traded derivatives.
- The MIC for London Stock Exchange Derivatives Market is XLOD and firms must use this value in the trading venue field for all transactions executed on this derivatives exchange.
