The Russell 2000 Dividend Indexes represent the total dividends paid by the stocks of companies included in the Russell 2000 Index. The index series is designed to measure equity performance independent of stock price changes, and it can be used as the basis for index-linked financial products such as derivatives. The indexes reset to zero at the scheduled index review dates.
