The LSEG Workspace Add-in – allowing visualisation of financial insights within Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint – has been made available to Workspace users worldwide.
The add-in offers seamless data discovery, improved visualisations, and enhanced reusability of content in Excel and PowerPoint.

We’re transforming financial professionals’ ability to discover and use data directly within Excel and PowerPoint” said LSEG’s Head of Workspace and Interim Co-head of Workflows, Nej D’Jelal. “For example, bankers spend much of their time analysing and visualising deals data from various sources in Excel or preparing PowerPoint reports. We’re helping them enhance their output and make faster, smarter and more confident decisions.”
The LSEG Workspace Add-in offers:
- Seamless data discovery with Data Types and simplified formulas
Customers can discover data contextually, using rich metadata to see related data and calculation methodology within cells - Enriched visualisations using the Annotations application
Financial professionals can search, sort, and annotate charts with key events and news, making data analysis more insightful. - Reusable content via the Asset Library
Productivity will be supercharged with reusable slides, charts, and tables with custom tags and pre-generated metadata, sharable across Excel and PowerPoint.
The add-in launches with access to LSEG deals data, enabling seamless access to LSEG's market leading database of more than four million transactions across 20 years. Further data sets will be added over the coming months.
The LSEG Workspace Add-in with Excel and PowerPoint is just one of a series of planned advancements as a result of the partnership between Microsoft and LSEG.
