LSEG Foundation: convening the voices that shape change

Share

Summary

Lasting change happens when the right people come together across geographies, sectors and different lived experiences. Through the work of the LSEG Foundation, we convene conversations that do exactly that, bringing influential voices into dialogue on the issues that matter most to society today.

On 6 July 2026, we will mark a key annual moment in our calendar with LSEG Foundation Day - an opportunity to celebrate the impact of our global charitable partnerships and engage in the power of collective action.

The evening will begin with a market close at the London Stock Exchange, hosted with our charity partner Malaika, an organisation dedicated to empowering girls and communities through education and health programmes in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

It will be followed by a special edition of our ‘In conversation with’ series, featuring a fireside chat with the founder and CEO of Malaika, Noella Coursaris Musunka, and Malaika ambassador, Grammy award-winning rapper and songwriter Eve.

Together, Noella and Eve will explore themes of leadership, opportunity and resilience, reflecting on how individuals and institutions can support more inclusive and sustainable futures, particularly for women and girls around the world.

A platform for inspiring dialogue

The LSEG Foundation ‘In conversation with’ series draws on personal experience, professional insight and a shared commitment to impact. It creates the space for open, wide-ranging and thought-provoking conversations between leaders from different fields - from business and media to philanthropy and activism.

At the end of 2025, we welcomed Sir Terry Waite, renowned human rights activist and ambassador for charity partner Beyond Conflict, to reflect on peacebuilding and the role of dialogue in resolving global tensions.

Earlier this year, Gillian Anderson OBE, award-winning actress, author and humanitarian, joined her co-founder Michelle Potter to share the story behind SAYes Mentoring, the charity they established nearly two decades ago.

Gillian and Michelle spoke candidly about the challenges facing young people today and the role that individuals, businesses and organisations can play in building a more equitable, intergenerational future through mentorship.

Partnering with purpose

LSEG Foundation works with more than 150 charitable organisations globally, supporting initiatives across education, employability, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and community resilience. Our role is to not only fund but to connect, bringing together partners, experts and advocates to amplify impact and share learning.

LSEG Foundation Day is an opportunity to bring these strands together, celebrating the progress we have made with our partners while looking ahead to the work that still needs to be done.

It promises to be a powerful moment, exploring broader questions about equity, opportunity and the role organisations like LSEG can play in driving lasting change.
