Training at LCH
LCH is proud to provide comprehensive training to both new Clearing Members as well as refresher courses for our existing Clearing Members.
Our educational initiatives are centred on the LCH Training Curriculum which provides instruction for our Clearing Members through a number of programs.
The Training Curriculum includes:
- Introductory courses
- Operational training
Training provided at LCH Ltd
The LCH Ltd Rulebook states Clearing Members must ensure that:
"an adequate number of administrative staff are fully conversant with procedures for the management of business transacted in the markets and contracts cleared by the Clearing House and in which the Clearing Member participates"
LCH's range of training has been designed to assist Clearing Members in meeting these criteria.
A bespoke training service is also available upon request, as resources permit, which is aimed at:
- New Clearing Members
- Clearing Members wishing to extend their existing Clearing Member status to another market
- Risk and back office operational staff at existing Clearing Member firms who require refresher training

Training provided by LCH SA
The LCH SA Rulebook states that:
"LCH SA may organise training sessions, on request of Clearing Members, dedicated to individuals that are under the Clearing Member’s authority or acting on behalf of the Clearing Member who perform, or wish to perform, clearing functions on all Financial Instruments"
LCH's range of training has been designed to assist Clearing Members in meeting these criteria.
