22 companies selected for the Italian Listed Brand showcase

  • Starting from the showcase a dedicated FTSE Russell index will be created

Today, Borsa Italiana announces the 22 companies that have been selected for the Italian Listed Brands showcase.

Creativity, excellence, intuition, innovation and global appeal are the main and distinctive characteristics of Italian brands, and is why Borsa Italiana has decided to offer investors a new tool to identify the Italian companies with a significant brand awareness.

The companies that will be featured in the Italian Listed Brands showcase are: Autogrill, Brembo, Brunello Cucinelli, Campari, Damiani, De' Longhi, F.I.L.A., Ferrari, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Geox, Luxottica, Moncler, OVS, Piaggio & C., Pininfarina, Piquadro, Pirelli & C., Safilo Group, Salvatore Ferragamo, Technogym, Tod's, Yoox Net-A-Porter Group.

The list of companies included in the showcase was defined by Borsa Italiana with the support of a panel of domestic and international industry experts and financial analysts. In addition to the classic traditional metrics, the main intangible assets of these companies were taken in consideration, such as the brand perception among their customers and the distinctive positioning within their competitive arena.

Starting from this list, a new dedicated Index will join the FTSE Russell Index Family which covers the Italian market.
