AMEC Celebrates 30 Years on London Stock Exchange

  • Share price increased five-fold since float in 1983
  • AMEC revenues up 460 per cent since listing
  • Samir Brikho, AMEC CEO, opens trading

London Stock Exchange today welcomed AMEC in celebrating its thirty year listing anniversary. To mark the occasion, AMEC CEO, Samir Brikho opened trading at 8am this morning in a Market Open Ceremony at London Stock Exchange, with Alexander Justham, CEO, London Stock Exchange.

AMEC is a supplier of consultancy, engineering and project management services to its customers in the world's oil and gas, mining, clean energy, environment and infrastructure markets. A constituent of the prestigious FTSE 100 index, AMEC employs over 29,000 people in around 40 countries worldwide and has a market capitalisation of £3.3 billion.
