UnaVista 2016 Roundup and 2017 Outlook
As we look forward to a great new year, UnaVista reflect on the achievements of 2016 and give you some insight of what to expect in 2017.
The delay to MiFID II brought created an opportunity for clients to fully prepare for the reporting obligation as well as vendors to produce more tailored solution for reporting firms.
In order to help firms take advantage of the extension and fully prepare, UnaVista launched the MiFIR Accelerator Programme with key clients already in MiFIR UAT.
We also announced UnaVista MAR Alerts in collaboration with MillenniumIT and London Stock Exchange Market Surveillance enable our MiFID clients fulfil their MAR (Market Abuse Regulation) reporting seamlessly.
UnaVista also made great strides with our G20 derivative reporting solution suite. The 2nd Bank of Israel reporting Order was formerly announced in June 2016 with a go-live date of 1 January 2017. We have launched UnaVista Bank of Israel reporting solution in December ahead of schedule with key Tier 1 buy and sell-side firms on-board.
We launched the MiFID stats pack which is an analytics service that provides firms with a detailed report on their monthly transaction reporting performance enabling them benchmark against their peers.
Among the recognition we received in 2016 were the Best Regulatory Reporting Platform or Service at the Operational Risk Awards and the Best Solutions Provider for EMIR and Regulatory Reporting at the Compliance Register Platinum Awards.
With LEI (Legal Entity Identifier) renewal period coming up, London Stock Exchange was named joint best five LOUs (Local Operating Unit) on Data Quality for three consecutive months from September to November 2016.
As we continue to build our solutions offerings, a few products that UnaVista is currently working on and plans to launch in 2017 include:

- MiFIR Reference Data (RTS 23) reporting

- New G20 Reporting jurisdictions, including South Africa, Switzerland USA (Dodd-Frank)
- Enhancements to existing G20 reporting jurisdictions like Canada and Hong Kong
We're planning a variety of events, roundtables, forums and webinars to continue to facilitate bi-lateral conversation our clients. We've scheduled a MiFIR Services webinar in January and are officially launching the Partner Programme with an event in February.
