London Stock Exchange welcomes Slush celebrating entrepreneurship
Roughly ten years ago, Slush was born and raised in Helsinki by a group of entrepreneurs who realized that there was nothing that supported the local entrepreneurs in what they did. Slush started out as a 300-person event. The focus was on bringing the founders together and attracting venture capitalists to the region to help the next generation of world-conquering entrepreneurs succeed.
Today, Slush in Helsinki is a two-day startup and investor event organized every November, accompanied by hundreds of side events. Being organized by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, the event has grown in just a few short years to 20,000 attendees, bringing together the leading actors of the global tech scene to Helsinki for something very special. This year, for the 11th time, Slush opens its doors to a Nordic tech wonderland. In addition, Slush organizes over 70 events and gathers around 43,000 attendees globally.

Slush opens the London Stock Exchange in quest of making more friends on the continent with a goal to identify the key players in Europe and finding synergies between pro-startup organizations, and kick-start new initiatives that boost forward the European tech scene.
