London Stock Exchange welcomes Lawrence Dallaglio and the Webb Ellis Cup
London Stock Exchange today welcomed the Webb Ellis Cup as part of the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour.
The Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour has seen the Webb Ellis Cup showcased to audiences around the UK and the world as part of the build-up to Rugby World Cup 2015. On 10 June the Trophy started a 100-day tour of the UK and Ireland, marking the final countdown to this year’s showcase Tournament.
Rugby is at the heart of the Trophy Tour schedule and has engaged with over 100 clubs, organisations and rugby festivals, from grassroots to elite level, and fans everywhere have had a chance to get a close-up of the Webb Ellis Cup with over 300 events programmed across the 100-day continuous Tour.
As part of the Trophy Tour, England’s Rugby World Cup 2003 winner Lawrence Dallaglio OBE opened trading in London this morning, with Iyanu Agbedejobi from Eastlea Community School in Newham.
