London Stock Exchange welcomes Charter Court Financial Services Group plc to the Main Market
London Stock Exchange today welcomes Charter Court Financial Services Group PLC (“Charter Court”), one of the leading specialist lenders serving the UK residential mortgage market, to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the FCA and to trading on the Main Market for listed securities.
Charter Court was established by its current management team in 2008. The Group operates through its three highly rated brands, serving mortgage customers and mortgage intermediaries through Precise Mortgages, retail savings customers through Charter Savings Bank, and administration, specialist analytics and credit consultancy for institutional clients through Exact Mortgage Experts.
Charter Court has successfully focused on meeting increased customer and broker demand for specialist mortgages and attractive savings products. The Group has leveraged its strengths and competitive advantages to become the leading specialist mortgage lender in the UK, based on the volume of mortgages generated in 2016 in its core markets. Continued strong growth is reflected in Charter Court reporting mortgage originations of £1.3 billion during the first six months of 2017 and a net mortgage loan book of £4.4 billion.
Conditional dealing in the Company’s primary listed ordinary shares starts today under the ticker “CCFS”. The IPO is intended to position the Company for the next stage of its development, by further raising its profile, enhancing its ability to retain and incentivise employees and providing it with a platform for future growth.
