London Stock Exchange welcomes SEC S.p.A

SEC S.p.A., the largest independent advocacy, public relations and integrated communications agency in the Italian market, founded in Milan in 1989, was welcomed today to the London Stock Exchange to celebrate its entry to AIM.

With its pan Europe reach and a consolidated turnover of €22 million, SEC is in the top ten worldwide ranking Fast Movers PR agency (Holmes Report 2016). Accelerated growth has been due to the SEC’s international development and to the competitiveness of its Companies in each referred market: Cambre (Bruxelles), ACH Cambre (Spain), Kohl PR (Germany), and of course SEC in Italy.

SEC Group is a global partnership of entrepreneurs. This means that they take care of their business by themselves and the partnership answers to an industrial approach, not a financial one. So, a global partnership that likes communication because believes in the relationships between people, in thought and empathy, where the business ethic is not a formula but an experience, and the multicultural richness brings quality to the response capabilities.

SEC Group has an extremely ambitious long term project of development: an acquisitions plan of new geographies and sectors that will see first a consolidation in Europe and Middle East, followed by Americas and Asia. Plans include investment both in digital services and transformation, increasing also the offering to be able to provide more services for their clients with a first class team, product and strategy.

SEC chose to list in London to further consolidate the international position of the network in a key market and to enhance its financial strength. The capital raised will be used to invest in this growth strategy. In addition, with the IPO SEC intends to become a true public company over time, owned by those who work within it, indeed, the Company has already reserved a stock grants plan for its 170 coworkers.

SEC and its guests, including the Minister Counselor Vincenzo Celeste representing the Italian Embassy in London, gathered on Tuesday 26th July at London Stock Exchange to celebrate entry to the AIM market, a step that marks the next phase of the company’s development and the springboard for the next phase of this project.

Advisers from UBS for financial advisory, WH Ireland as nomad and broker; Integrae, joint and placing agent; Gowling WLG and Hill Dickinson as legal advisers for UK and Nctm for Italian market joined SEC S.p.A. team. BDO UK and BDO Italy are the Company’s auditors.
