London Stock Exchange welcomes Alfa to the Main Market
London Stock Exchange today welcomed Alfa Financial Software to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the FCA and to trading on the Main Market for listed securities. The offer price has been set at 325 pence per share which equates to a market capitalisation of £975 million on admission.
Alfa is the developer of Alfa Systems, a leading, mission-critical software platform purpose-built for asset finance enterprises globally and developed to meet the current and future needs of the global asset finance industry.
The specialised, complex and changing requirements of the asset finance industry create particular challenges in developing solutions that are fit for purpose. This provides Alfa with many opportunities for acquiring new customers whose legacy or in-house solutions cannot cope with the evolving regulatory landscape. Alfa has nearly three decades of in-depth knowledge and understanding of the asset finance industry, built up through deep customer partnerships and a software platform that has been updated continuously to reflect developments in technology and the evolving needs of the industry.
Alfa was founded in 1990 and its headquarters are in London. It has more than 257 employees, working with customers across four continents, with further offices in Detroit, Los Angeles and Auckland.
Andrew Page, Executive Chairman of Alfa, said:
"Over the last 27 years, Alfa has evolved into a world-class technology company and forged a leading position in a market with significant structural growth opportunities. Joining the London Stock Exchange is the clear next step in the development of the business and I am very much looking forward to taking advantage of the many opportunities ahead."
Andrew Denton, Chief Executive, added:
"Joining the LSE is an important day for everyone at Alfa. We have built a business that is predicated not just on industry-leading technology, but also through a thorough understanding of our markets and deep relationships with blue-chip organisations across the globe. "We have developed a strong platform from which we will continue to execute our proven growth strategy, and a public listing will be highly effective in supporting our ambitions. I would like to welcome our new shareholders who join us at this exciting stage in our growth."
