Event: Exploring stewardship and the transition to a sustainable economy

On Wednesday 30 May, we hosted a half day forum to consider the role of investor stewardship and what is required for a transition to a sustainable economy for investors and issuers alike.

The forum considered the role of asset owners as stewards, and assessed the current state of the sustainability transition. Also, through the lens of data, we defined and measured the size of the global green economy and considered whether investors have the data they need to enable effective company engagement and effective allocation of capital. This was contrasted with the experience of companies in their engagement with investors.

The forum culminated with a discussion panel, and the sharing of experiences of stewardship and orientating capital to the long-term.
