Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust takes young people aged between 8 - 24 sailing to help them regain their confidence, on their way to recovery from cancer. Visit Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust website for more information.
The Harlequins Foundation delivers a range of programmes and partnerships that use rugby and the Harlequins spirit to inspire, educate and equip disadvantaged young people. Visit Harlequins Foundation website for more information.
Working together to build a brighter future for the next generation…
Our new mental health campaign will aim to: raise awareness and challenge stigma around mental health; build the mental resilience of young people; equip our coaches to deal with mental health and well-being; and support the wellness of our staff and players. Our innovative new schools programme, being piloted from September in local primary schools, will help children and young people develop the skills to deal with stressful and challenging times and situations.
Our new girls rugby programme, which supports Harlequins wider women and girls strategy and will aim to:
Increase accessibility and participation – providing Year 7 & 8 girls with the opportunity to play rugby within PE lessons, after school clubs, and festivals.
Inspire and Excel – using our coaches to nurture and develop girls progression within the game.
Develop and Sustain – by educating staff, supporting schools, and providing an onward pathway.
