LSEG response to ESMA’s Consultation Paper on MiFID II/ MiFIR:

(1 Aug 2014) London Stock Exchange Group has provided a response to key elements of ESMA’s draft technical advice to the European Commission on Delegated Acts in MiFID II/MiFIR, including views on investor protection, SME Growth Markets, liquidity, data publication and consolidated tape, HFT and DEA.

LSEG response to ESMA’s Discussion Paper on MiFID II/ MiFIR

(1 Aug 2014) London Stock Exchange Group has provided a response to key elements of ESMA’s Discussion Paper on its regulatory technical standards in MiFID II/ MiFIR, including views on pre- and post-trade transparency of markets, liquidity, non-discriminatory access to trading venues, CCPs and licences to benchmarks, microstructural issues (e.g. market making, algorithmic trading and tick sizes), data disaggregation and consolidated tape, market data reporting, commodity derivatives and post-trade issues.
