With rugby taking centre stage in England during 2015, London Stock Exchange Group has teamed up with the RFU London Legacy Group to stage a Mixed Touch Rugby Tournament in the build-up to the World Cup, with all proceeds going to charity.

Sign up a team

You can sign up a team from your company now online

Each team needs six to ten mixed players, including a captain. To enter, teams will also be asked to donate £2,000 to the LSEG Foundation and a gift for the live auction. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 games and will receive a team kit for the tournament and invitations for all team members and their guests to the networking evening.

The rules are simple and the emphasis on agility and passing instead of tackling makes it easy for all to get involved. Each game will be made up 10 minutes and each team will play at least four games, with at least two on the revolutionary 4G surfaces. There will be six players on the pitch at any one time and up to four rolling substitutes, and as part of the rules of this particular tournament we are also requiring each team to have a minimum of two members of each gender on the field at any one point in time.

Cheer us on

Join a team on the night and cheer on your players, The bar will be open and guests will be able to get refreshments from 17:00. After the sporting event, team  guests will be able to retire to one of Allianz Park’s suites and relax with well-earned food and drinks.

Through the evening we will also be holding a charity auction with a wide variety of lots, the list of which will be published prior to the event. It will also be possible to bid before the event and to place an open bid on the day – more details of how the auction is being conducted can be found here

Sponsors will gain lots of exposure from the event; whether through logos on shirts, communications, backdrops, team stands or in the official match-day programme. We also anticipate securing press and social media coverage, giving sponsors the opportunity to reach large numbers of potential clients.

Make a Difference

We are asking organisations to consider making a donation to All Schools, enabling a school to be part of the programme and become a self-sustaining rugby playing school. You can find out more and register your interest online

All Schools has been developed by the RFU to increase the amount of rugby in state secondary schools, and to encourage new players to join local clubs. The objective is to take rugby to 750 state secondary schools new to the sport, aiming to make school life happier and healthier, reducing anti-social behaviour, enhancing learning and increasing self-esteem for students.

Through a £10,000 donation you can be partnered with an eligible school anywhere in the country, receive bespoke  acknowledgement of your support and know that you are creating a positive legacy for the selected school both now and for many years to come. This is a partnership that will bring rugby and its core values to the school and the community and your generosity will help deliver the All Schools programme.

In partnership with the Rugby Football Foundation, All Schools will create a positive legacy for 1 million children through its core values: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. Your organisation can be part of this legacy.

All the money raised from the tournament and the drinks night will go to the LSEG Foundation, this is a great opportunity to engage in a CSR initiative which can make a genuine difference. To read more about what your support will mean to communities, click here
